There used to be days when kids started learning English alphabets of which, the third one used to be like "C for Cat", but in this techno-savvy era, the 'Cat' has been replaced by 'Computers'. This shows what a common thing computers have become today. By definition, a computer a machine which accepts data, processes it and gives the output, but in today's scenario where computers are being used very widely right from a household gadget to a very powerful supercomputer in one or other form, this definition appears just a partial piece. Through years, computers have evolved very rapidly and have become cheaper and compact. While the first computers used to be of a size of a room, today we have very compact personal forms of computers like laptops and palmtops. Also, only skilled technicians could use these machines in that era, but computers today have found very wide application, having something for almost everybody, and allowing everybody who can read to use it. Apart from other significant uses, computer has become a great tool being used for communication with the internet, which indeed made world a local place.
