| Let my baby cry? | | So my baby is now almost 4 months old and she cries alot. Even after I have made sure she is A-Ok in every aspect she still cries to be held....all the time. Its my fault because I am at home all day and I cater to her. How can I not? People are telling me its time to let her cry for a while to self comfort. Do other mothers find this as hard as I do, and is this really the right age? | |
| | We want to have another child?!?! | | We have a 2yr old daughter... She brings such joy to our home... My boyfriend and I have been talking about adding another member to our family. Honestly, I always wanted to have more kids since my daughter was first born (I didn't want her to be a only child like myself), but will a new baby affect her in a bad way? Is she old enough to understand? | |
| | I Just Became A | | Grammy (grandmother like the awards, lol) again for the 5th time. Cole Ryan was born last evening at suppertime. Weighing 7 lbs 4 oz,he is the smallest birth weight baby yet in the famlily, but likely will grow up to to be the biggest. Uually the way it goes. He was two and a half weeks early, because mom has gall stones and the doctor will likely be removing her gall bladder today. It was an extremely painful pregnancy for her and I am glad he is finally born and they will be fine. She is only 24. He is her 4th baby. She now has 3 boys and a girl, born when she was 16, 18, 21 and now 24. Yep they all have the same dad too. Rare these days, I know! I am only 51 years myself. Now I have 1 grandchild for each decade it seems. I have her 3 other kids here for a few days, so I am one tired grammy, but so thankful all are ok!Just wanted to share this with you all... | |

Like most mums, she's getting really upset while she's at work and feels bad for leaving our child since they've hardly been apart.Could any working mums offer advice or tips on how to cope with the separation from your child when you first go back to work? | | Does the media put to much pressure on new moms to lose their baby weight? | | Seiously you see articles on how people and actors and starlets all around lost their baby weight with in a month or what not all the time. But in the real world with out the money for that personal chef or trainer to get you back to your prebaby weight within a month or little more what do you do?
I mean seriously do you expect yourself to lose that weight quickly becuase the media put out so and so lost this much weight after having the baby on this diet?
Have you tried the fad after baby is born fad diets?
And more importantly do you feel the media has put to much pressure on new moms or moms in general to lose their babt weight? | |
| | Do women work more than man? | | Do women work more than men? I personally thank. A woman may be emotionally weaker, dependent upon a man for financial needs or physically weak, but regarding mental strength or determination a woman is more stronger than man. She even works more than a man.
For example let us take the case of a working woman. A working woman wakes up earlier in the morning, prepares breakfas/meals for her family, readies the kids for school and then gets personally ready and rushes off to work. But that is not the case of a man. He gets up rather late, reads the morning newspaper over a cup of tea or coffee and after having his breakfast goes off to work. There are thousands of examples like this. For instance even if a woman is an housewife, she works more than her man. Waking up earlier and preparing the breakfast and getting the kids ready for school is a daily routine, as is the case of her career minded sister, while her man as usual wakes up later and lazily reads the paper over a cup of coffee, while his wife is busy in the kitchen. If there happens to be a babt or infant in the house, then her work increases doubly. She has to look after her baby also, prepare its feeds, change its... | |
| | My New Garden Decoration | | Well it is Spring here in Melbourne Australia now and it is the time I love to get out in the garden, so I have been busy planting my vegie pots, Cherry Tomatoes, Chives, babt beetroot,and Raddishes and when I was at the garden shop I couldn't help but buy myself a new decoration for my garden, as I have different sections in my garden, one for my Cowboy and Indians, and a part for my music friends, so this addition was for my music section...he is so cute. | |

The stuff cponsists oc Bri-aBrac and other cxollecable, with fancy serving disshes, Platters, Fancu Plait. This is a workmans neibhorhood, although the Upper Babt Boomers are moveinfg in as well.
