| Cell Phones are Just for Calling | | I don't know about you, but I use my cell phone just for making calls and sending texts. I don't need or want a smartphone, iphone, blackberry whatever. I would never use it to go on msn or to check email or to play games. I have an iPod touch and I know if I'm going for a long boring trip to bring that. For me, my cell phone is not an entertainment device, its one for communication. How do you use your cell phone? | |

I heard acquaintances whose jobs are taking phone calls telling stories of many that have the definite sound of urination in the background. Today in two separate occurrences I entered public bathrooms where there was a guy on the toilet yapping away. On one of those occasions I had to go as well, and I don't think the other end of that line appreciated the loud bursts of sounds I make during bowel movements.So for those who wish to respond, are your phone calls so important that you would answer while your splashing and plopping and pooffing away, or do you wait until you are done with your business? Ever took a call with all the telltale sounds in the background? As for myself, I would never use the phone in a bathroom. It seems to me the tackiest thing anyone can do. | |

| Are cell phones a want or a need? | | I've seen some people these days, ordinary people who has high end cell phones, touch screen, with high resolutions etc. But if you look at them, you'll definitely see the kind of life style they have. They may not be able to pay or have the other things they need but it wonders me, how could they afford a high end cell phone if they're struggling with their everyday lives. | CELL Phones for 8 year olds? How absurd is that!! | | I was shopping today and saw a young girl on a cell phone. Turns out, she was calling her mother who was talking to a sales clerk. They were literally 10 feet apart.
Evidently the little girl who could not have been more than 8 years old didn't want to wait anymore and had called her mother so let her know she was ready to leave. Not only did I find that amazingly rude of the child but the look of surprise on her mother's face was priceless!! She apologized to the clerk for having to take the call and told her daughter to wait just a few more minutes!I can understand why a teenager would have a cell phone but an 8 year old child? What do you think? Should a young child have their own cell phone?? | |
| | Samsung or LG which one is better in cell phones. | | currently i am using LG mobile and i feel that its slightly under to samsung.
I feel that samsung produce more quality cell phones than LG. but LG is more cheap when you compare the phones with same features.
maily speaker, headsets and display of LG is poor quality.
But i think that LG gives more battery capacity when compared to samsung.
