| | Do you believe in fortune-tellers? | | There are different kinds of fortune-tellers around us such as astrologists, or those tellers who can forecast something about you according to your birthday, or birth time. Many people believe that they can foresee our future, our fortune. So we often find that many people go for them when they have no idea about their decisions, or have no hope for something. What do you think of it? Do you think fortune-telling does work? | |
| | Time For Our Next Walk In The Countryside, Methinks... | | If you've seen my previous discussion, you will understand that I need this walk right now, in order to take my mind off things... so, I hope you're all ready to come out into the countryside with me again. I need to chill!:-)One of you requested a faery hunt, and I'm looking forward to the picnic meal and wine you're bringing along for our return. Another, unable to walk too far at the moment, is going to have it ready for us when we get back from our walk, so she's coming on an "imaginary" walk with us. So, if you're all ready, then we'll set out, wave goodbye to Gabs and Gissi, turn on the video recorder, and start off by walking southwards a little, to the church steps. We'll climb the steps to the Lychgate, where there are two millstones embedded in the ground, and an arc-shaped seat at the side of one... through the gate and cemetery, past the vestry side of the church, to the school... a very old, primary school, built in similar stone to the Saxon part of the church. Ley lines cross under the church, so the cemetery is quite a spiritual place. At the edge of the school playground, inside the perimeter wall, there is a huge, old oak tree, where sometimes you might... | |
| | The Best Kind Of Friend. | | The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.Hope you have that kind of friend in your life.

| | A Great Sunday | | I started the day off watching the Pope at Ground Zero this morning on the news. Very touching as he blessed the area then met and talked briefly with a few survivors and victims family at the sight. My wife and I did a lot of yard work as well as it was in the low 70's and very nice. I also started a small bag of compost using egg shells, leaves, twigs, coffee grounds and watermelon rinds. We went for a bike ride this afternoon of about 5 miles or so. We had to stop to put air in her tires as they lost a lot of air from sitting in the garage all winter long. That was great exercise biking today. We had spaghetti with gralic bread sticks for dinner. An hour or so later we had Apple Pie for dessert as well. Then at about 9 tonight she asked me if I wanted to take a walk. So her, I, and Buster our beagle went for about an hour long walk in the dark. It was about 65 wehn we walked and was so pretty. The moonrise was a large full moon almost that was very orange. We had a great day today. What was your day like today? Did you see a bright orange sunrise tonight?
