| Grammar, Spelling, Syntax Errors...Your Opinion | | I've noticed that many individuals who post on mylot leave responses or, even worse, start discussions with very terrible English. Alright, I accept that some use English as a second language and so are allowed to make mistakes while furthering their fluency in the language. However, I noticed a large number of mylotters who blatantly leave stark mistakes in spelling and grammar as if they just want to type quickly enough to get the required number of posts to earn the relevant money. I take pride in composing parts to discussions, taking the time to look over my text, because I feel that it is only justified to put serious content with a professional-like manner rather than just throw things onto the text box just to earn the money. I dunno where this might lead to...any opinions? | |

| invalid syntax error? | | Hey people! i really need help here.... i need serious solutions, ok? I opened my memory card thru a card reader on my PC... the pictures were there... I copied some into my PC and then i safely removed the USB after I opened the files i needed... Then back on my cellphone, the pictures weren't there anymore. So i tried to open the memory card back again on my PC to check the files but I found the folders empty and there is a message saying "the filename...invalid syntax error" and "the files were either removed..." BUT i didn't do anything...How can i get my files back??? PLEASE HELP ME. | |

| | How do I get my HTML sortie to "stick" | | Here is what I am doing. I want to add a bunch of the ads that a lot of mylotters have on their profile. Here is what I am doing. From home page click on profile> edit profile> add content> HTML> add item> I type in my html and click on save changesit flickers than goes back to a blank field.What am I doing wrong. I am familiar with HTML so I am sure my syntax is correct. I have emailed myLot admin but I have yet to receive a reply from them. They fixed my previous problem with the Sortie I think because they are working now. | |

| Do you REVIEW your posts before submitting it as a response or discussion??? | | I have read the FAQ's early this morning and I just found out that there is no way we can edit our responses nor our discussions. The edit option is only available when you haven't submitted your post yet. The preview button at the bottom of the screen when you start a response or a new discussion allows us to review our post before submitting it. Once submission has been done, it would remain as is.I do read everything first several times before submitting it as a response or as a discussion. But sometimes, I still commit some mistakes. Either typographical error or missing words. How about you MyLotters? Do you review your post before submitting it or you just hit the start discussion button or the submit response button immediately? | |
